Dental Cleanings & Exams

Regular visits catch small problems while they’re still small, which keeps treatment simpler and less expensive.

What Happens at a Visit

Your hygienist cleans away plaque and tartar, checks your gums, and takes x-rays when they’re due. Dr. Brooks then examines your teeth, explains anything he sees, and goes over your options. If everything looks good, you’re done until next time.

For the Whole Family

We see children starting around 6 months old, and patients well past 100. With several hygienists on our team, we can often schedule parents and kids at the same time, so the whole family is done in one trip.

Periodontal Maintenance

If you’ve been treated for gum disease, a standard cleaning isn’t enough. Periodontal maintenance visits clean deeper and are usually scheduled more often, to keep the disease from coming back. Learn about gum disease treatment →

Insurance and Membership

Most dental insurance plans cover preventive visits, and we accept insurance whether or not we’re in network with your plan. No insurance? Our Premier Membership Plan covers your cleanings and exams for a monthly fee, plus 20% off treatment. Patients who need periodontal maintenance can join the periodontal membership, which covers four maintenance visits a year.
